There are not enough words to describe how Absolute Control Dog Training changed the lives of my husband and me. Magneto is a two year old Black Lab / Shepherd. He is filled with a lot of energy and had aggression toward other dogs. We were unable to control him when he was on a leash.
The winter of 05/06, Magneto decided that he wanted to take his owner for a walk and chase after another dog. Well, Magneto is a very powerful dog, hence his name, and he pulled me right down and I ended up breaking my ankle. At that time, I knew we had to do something. In June of 2006 I got pregnant and we are expecting our first child in February. I told my husband that we need to get Magneto under control or we might have to give him up which would break both our hearts.
One day at work I walked over to the Farmers Fair in Lumberton and I saw the most well behaved dogs I ever seen. I spoke to Perry Parks and I told him I wish I could have a dog that is as well behaved as his. Well, Perry promised me that we could change our dog’s behavior. I told Perry it was not possible. Perry visited our home one evening and showed us what could be done for Magneto. We signed up immediately for Absolute Control Dog Training.
When Magneto first began Absolute Control Dog Training he wanted to eat the other dogs and the staff there worked with us through his aggression. He is now a changed dog. Magneto has been attending class now for approximately four months. His dog aggression is no longer resent. Magneto is able to go near other dogs and socialize. My husband and I are no longer fearful of bringing Magneto to Freedom Park and having him socialize with the other dogs.
It is now a pleasure walking him and we are no longer getting the looks of disgust from our neighbors as they are marveling at the change in our precious Magneto. If my husband or I ever have a concern regarding him or need reinforcement we know that Absolute Control Dog Training will be there for us.
John and I want to thank you Perry and your wonderful staff for changing Magneto’s life and teaching us how to be the leader of the pack and enjoy our dog again!!!
