We came to ACDT as the result of meeting Perry and Terri (with Odie and Hannah) and taking their business card last winter at a benefit for the Burlington County animal shelter that was held at the Mount Holly Library. It was a total mob scene with wall to wall people, but Odie and Hannah were calm as could be (in fact Hannah was sleeping on a table where Terri had told her to place). So we went and watched a few classes. We were impressed not only by the clarity of the instruction, but the special attention given to any handler or dog who seemed to need it. We've been at it for several months now and our two GSDs, Toby (born 2/06) and Racy (born 11/05) have been making great progress. We like all the trainers we've worked with at Absolute Control -- Perry, Terri, Tracie, Alicia, Manny and Joyce -- very much. They have the most cheerful and encouraging manner, and they regularly get both people and dogs to achieve things we wouldn't have thought possible. Since we've gotten to know the trainers, we've been most impressed by their dedication to helping animals and other people. We love to go out to the farm and train. Both of our dogs enjoy working at ACDT and especially enjoy the agility equipment. It's reassuring to know that they are totally trustworthy with other people and animals. Our dogs have progressed so well at ACDT that we can't imagine taking them to train anywhere else.
